Top 10 Questions Answered

1)  Q:  What do I get to eat?

A:  You get to eat every 2.5 - 3 hours, six small meals a day.  Each day you will choose 5 meal replacements and 1 lean meat & vegetable meal that you prepare yourself or eat-out.

2)  Q:  Is the food good?

A:  With over 70 different choices, you will find your favorites.  You can choose from different flavors of bars, shakes, pudding, brownies, soup, pretzels, cheese puffs, oatmeal, hot & cold drinks, etc.

3)  Q:  How does it work?

A:  The program lowers cravings while putting you in a calorie deficit and fat burning state.  Each meal replacement is medically formulated to provide complete nutrition and they are all completely interchangeable…so you eat the meal you want, when you want!

4)  Q:  Is 1000 calories enough?

A:  Yes, because the meal replacements are so nutritiously dense, you will be receiving 100% of you daily requirements of nutrients, vitamins & minerals.  This allows you to safely be in a calorie deficit.

5)  Q:  How is the food different from store bought food?

A:  It is virtually impossible to receive all the nutrition you need in a day from 1000 calories of store bought food, which would leave you extremely hungry and tired.  Regular foods do not contain the dense nutrition with low calories that these meal replacements consistently provide.

6)  Q:  How much does it cost?

A:  The average cost of the 5 meal replacements you will eat in one day is about $10.  If you add up all the things you currently eat or drink in a day, you are probably spending more than $10, so you may actually save money while on this program.  The program is essentially cost neutral because you are replacing the food you are already buying from somewhere else.

7)  Q:  Do I have to do it forever?

A:  No, after the weight-loss phase of the program, your Health Coach will guide you through the transition phase and then onto the maintenance phase where you will learn to maintain your weight through store bought foods.

8)  Q:  Will I gain the weight back?

A:  The transition phase of the program is designed to prevent rebound weight gain.  You will slowly add back in healthy foods that you were not eating on the program.

9)  Q:  Why does it work better than exercise alone?

A:  You would have to burn 140,000 calories in order to lose 40 pounds of fat!  This means that you would have to run 53 marathons in order to lose 40 pounds! That is one marathon a week for a year!  With this program, the average person can safely lose the 40 lbs in 2-4 months.

 10)  Q:  How is this program different from a diet?

A:  On a diet, you typically struggle to reach a short-term goal, feel hungry and can’t wait until it is over!  Then after you reach your weight loss goal you quit the diet, go right back to unhealthy eating habits and gain all the weight back plus some.  With this program you safely reach your weight loss goal, go through a careful transition and move on to a maintenance plan creating healthier habits for the rest of your life.
